How to use Pictured

Users upload a group of 2-6 photos and add a tagline of what other users are voting on. This could be anything from “What photo is best for my Tinder?” to “Which dog is cutest?”. Then the user gets votes by spending our in-app currency called “Pictured Tokens”. They earn Tokens by voting on other batches or purchasing Tokens directly from us. 1 vote on someones batch earns 1 Token. A user can choosing how many votes they want for their batch based on how many Tokens they have and the batch will be active until they receive the requested amount of votes. Users can always get more votes later on by using more Tokens. Pictured is completely free if you vote on others batches to earn Tokens and get randomized votes. However, users can pay for premium to target a specific demographic of who they want to vote on their batch. Also, users can skip rating batches by posting publicly and having their followers vote on their batch.

When a user interacts with a batch, he or she will see each image full screened by clicking through them then a zoomed out view with all of them at once. After seeing all the images and reading the tagline, they will vote which is best. Only AFTER they vote are the percentages revealed how others voted.

Anonymous Feedback

Pictured will offer our users the option of getting their photo feedback from anonymous users for a more objective result. The user chooses to make their batch anonymous or public. Users simply rate others batches or buy Tokens and then their batch becomes active and gets votes from users in their desired demographic.

Social Media

Pictured is designed to enhance users experience on their favorite established social media platforms instead of trying to compete as a new social media platform. However, we do offer a social media experience if the user chooses to partake. Users can make their account public and post their batches for their friend to interact with my voting and commenting. This requires no tokens and users can get feedback just by having followers who want to interact and help each eachother.

Advertising

Businesses can test out different versions of an ad while simultaneously advertising by posting a batch just as a user would. What makes this different than a traditional ad is the psychology behind it. People are more likely to buy a product they feel they contributed to. By helping the company choose what ad is best they will feel more connected than just seeing an ad on the screen.

Fun

More than anything we expect our users to have fun with it and find unique uses for our software. Some of our ideas include pages about dogs, cars, sports, etc and people having fun on Pictured voting on whats best and then seeing the results.
